9/11 completely transformed the way people view travel. It used to be synonymous with vacation – a worry-free trip, yet now, there’s a lingering fear and anxiety that people have to deal with. With increased terrorist activity around the world, people have reason to be fearful that their plane may be part of a terrorist plot. Paranoia is just exercising caution in the case of travel. Some of the travel insurance tips will say that airlines will provide coverage if such an event were to occur. For instance, if the State Department issued a travel warning for those traveling to a specific country, they may reimburse the traveler for the flight. It may be good to get the additional coverage just in case.
