Staying in Cape Town for the World Cup

Many tour operators and travel agents are offering world cup packages specifically targeted to the city of Cape Town which will host five first round matches, one second round match, one quarter and one semi final match. The stadium at this location is one of three new ones being constructed for the tournament and will seat 69,500 people when completed.  Between the matches there will be plenty of time to visit the very popular and tourist friendly Cape Town beaches, which offer a variety of experiences. The water temperatures range from cold to mild depending on which beach and which side of the Capetown peninsula that you happen to be on at the time. If the beaches are not your cup of tea, then find a travel agent who can point you in the direction of the various restaurants, and tourist attractions.
