Retail Therapy: Another Name for Debt?

Retail therapy is the female practice of using a shopping spree to cure what ails you. While there’s no doubt that a new pair of shoes will lift the spirits, I have also found that this feel-good habit can have an unhappy ending. For most of us, a therapeutic shopping spree can be a short-term fix that takes a long time to pay. I know, because I was the ultimate shopaholic and had to get a Debt Consolidation loan to pay off my bills.  Now I brighten my outlook the way any sane woman would – with a tub of butter-pecan ice cream.
