My Dog’s Whistle Training Finally Came-in Handy
Last weekend I went for a long hike in the woods with my dog. He usually runs back and forth on the trail and every once in a while he runs off into the bushes. This time he spotted a deer and took off. In no time he was long gone and out of sight. Luckily I had taught him whistle training and after blowing on it for about a minute he came charging back. It was the first time I had actually had to use it and I am glad I did. Who knows how long it would have taken him to come back on his own.
