Christian marriage counseling is a joke
I don’t know who came up with the idea that Christian marriage counseling could actually solve marriage problems, but I’m here to testify that it absolutely can’t. I know it isn’t just my marriage that was hurt by counseling, but I also know many other couples who actually wound up worse off than before they tried it. Instead, what I found to be helpful are one on one sessions with true experts who understand the biblical teachings of marriage. Not many people truly do, and I think counselors are the worst of all in actually applying God’s word to relationships.
