Sunforce wind generator as a battery charger

I have been using my Sunforce wind generator as a battery charger at my summer place up in the hills. I don’t get as much wind during the summer months as I do during the winter up here, but there is a steady 15 to 20 mph wind usually. That seems to be enough to charge my bank of batteries and I run my PC and iPod off of it as well during the day. At night, I just run a few lamps and a radio occasionally. The generator seems to handle all of this with no problem. But it’s mainly a battery charger and I’ve been thinking about adding some solar panels into the system. I’ve heard other people use it this way with good results.
