Use Fdisk to Easily Partition New Drives

Most new computers arrive ready to go, with their hard drives formatted and divided just the right way for the typical user. What if you want your hard drive to be arranged differently from the default values, though? Simple. Just run fdisk to set up the hard drives exactly how you want them. Last year I decided to build my own computer. I figured out that I could afford a much more powerful machine if I ordered parts separately and then assembled them myself. I could also get a machine specially suited to my needs. When I got the hard drives I set them up just how I wanted. Now my computer is one of a kind.
