A Vignette Was Affixed To Our Left Hand Drive Audi
It pays to know the laws and rules of each country that you drive through in Europe. We were taking our left hand drive audi on a three week orientation spin when we came to the Swiss border. At the border we were asked to buy a vignette pass that has to be displayed at all times when driving on Swiss roads. We were able to pay cash right from the car without getting out and they affixed it for us. I understand that for the cashless society that they also have them available inside and accept credit cards but you have to affix the vignette yourself.
