JLS Tour Set To Tighten Security At Venues In The UK To Keep Them Safe From Obsessive Fans
29 January 2010
An X Factor fan exclusion area will be set up around Margate Winter Gardens to keep the locale clear of kids frantic to catch a glance of boy band sensation JLS before their sell-out concerts. The next JLS single One Shot is set to reach the top of the charts.
Any one spotted hanging round the clifftop location looking to see their idols during Fri. and Sat. will be moved on. Security is tight for the 2 shows that will bring thousands of kids to theatre for the two high-energy shows. Paul Palmer, entertainments and families boss, asserted : “Unless you’ve a ticket for the shows, please don’t turn up on the evening. We actually have an extensive list of those people who don’t have tickets but are waiting and wanting any probable returns. There’ll be none spare at the ticket office for anybody else. “Doors to the location will be manned all day Friday and Sat.
Police will control the area outside of the location and a pro security team will handle interior security. “We’re troubled for the protection of young fans who could have it in mind to hang around out the front of the locale in Fort Hill or at the rear on the clifftop promenade. They’ll be moved on if they turn up. “We’re not being killjoys, simply looking to guarantee safety for ticket holders.” It is accepted that JLS – who have taken the pop charts by force with singles Beat Again and Everyone In Love – won’t be staying overnite in the area between the 2 gigs.
