I was at the country club for supper last night again. Ruby was working behind the bar and she’s always a lot of fun. We had guests in from another plant, so we’d gone out golfing and then ate at the club. She made their night. She’s always so flirty, even with the chicks. I think one of our party was a little embarrassed a couple of times with the comments and then everybody giggling about it, but they all seemed to have a great time after a few cocktails.

I’m glad I had that box of alka seltzer in my desk this morning.

Now that our economy is going down the tubes  hopefully we will see it recovering very quickly.  We can only go at this rate so long before something seriously drastic happens. I’ve seen more adds lately for car loans and bad credit, along with lower interest rates. You better be careful when it sounds too good to be true because as we all know that is usually the case. You know when you’ve found a good deal and you also know when to run. Just listen to your little voice and let it be your guide. If you don’t listen to it you know you’ll be sorry in the long run.

We bought a second hand boat trailer, however it is need of some repair and refurbishment so we are looking for someone who does boat trailer repairs to do the majority of the work for us.  We can do all the superficial stuff ourselves and that should only take a weekend.  It will be great to be able to take the boat with us on holiday this year when we go to the coast.  Hopefully we will be able to do a bit of waterskiing if the water is calm enough.  Haven’t done it for years so will probably spend more time in the water than on it!
